’Tis the Season to be Jolly…

It’s that time of year again.  The mid-term lull, where you realise it’s getting colder, darker and the workload is getting heavier. Fear not, because the German Christmas Market is back to pull you out of that wintery depression.

With pints the size of your head, delicious sausages and the warm atmosphere of the festive-lit beer garden; it’s cosy booths and songs from entertainer Der Alpen Klaus are the perfect remedy for anyone feeling a bit bah humbug about the coming season.

Take your pick from a heart-warming hog roast, bratwurst prepared on a traditional Schewenkgrill, or for the sweeter toothed among you – crepes and waffles, sugared nuts and lebkuchen gingerbread hearts, which you can finish off with a mulled wine or a German beer.

There is literally nowhere better to go to cheer yourself up; the market is open between now and the 22nd of December so make sure to get your fill of a Bavarian Christmas here in Bristol.
