Advertorial: Employability and Enterprise Zone Launch Party

UWE Careers

Friday 1st May, 12-3pm, Rm 2D11, Frenchay Campus

Student Services is about to launch the University's 'Employability and Enterprise Zone' in the heart of the Frenchay Campus (2D11 opposite Core24 and along from the Bolland Library). The 'E-Zone' brings together careers, enterprise, volunteering and global student support services in one area with excellent IT facilities, information materials, drop-in services and exhibitions.

We are hoping this will be a good opportunity for students and staff to find out more about what we do.

What’s going on at the Launch Party?

• Refreshments!
• Help with finding job vacancies
• Rapid CV checking – put your CV to the “20 second” test
• Personality tests – learn more about yourself
• Psychometric testing – go on…give it a practice run!
• Find out about volunteering opportunities
• Be inspired by work and travel overseas
• Advice about starting a business (no Dragons Den to fear here)
• Leaving UWE?  What next?  Unsure about the impact of the recession on you?  On hand advisers to answer your questions

The Vice Chancellor will be ‘opening’ the launch party between 12pm and 12.20.

We hope to see many of you at the party and aim for it to be a fun and informative event.
