Located at the top of Stokes Croft, Plantation is one of Bristol’s real treasures. Where some would gravitate towards Turtle Bay when craving Caribbean cuisine, I choose Plantation. This independent restaurant has it all. Aside from its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, it also boasts excellent food.

Whether you’re after their superb buffet or fancy something from their extensive a la carte menu, Plantation never fails to impress.

As you arrive what is immediately striking is the authentic Caribbean feel it has. As well as their varied food menu there is also a great selection of drinks available. If you’re not a fan of the traditional Red Stripe then their alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails will please even the choosiest of drinkers.

On most Fridays and Saturdays you can be entertained while you eat with some great live music as you eat. So if you’re after an authentic taste of the Caribbean in the heart of the West Country then Plantation is the place for you. Its friendly staff and outstanding menu make it an absolute pleasure you’ll be sure to visit again and again.
