Life at UWE is about to change for a handful of students who will be elected as presidents, vice presidents and campus chairs, all offering the promise of bigger and better things for the student community. Will they deliver? Only time will tell.

 

Here in the media centre we have a new wave of recruits each year too, though, for the position of Publications Editor at least, this happens during an interview process.

So I bought my first MP3 the other day. I’d been waiting for the song to come out for months, literally, and it’s not often that the imminent release of a remix makes it onto my calendar. So when I saw it was available as a legitimate download, I jumped on it; using £1.50 from my PayPal account left over from selling some real-life items on eBay.
